i got into a discussion about RWD cars vs FWD. And accually found out that RWD is much better than FWD.
"When a FWD car takes off hard, notice how the front end lifts a bit. This will take weight off the front wheels and allows then to spin more easily. The same lifting occurs on a RWD car, but the weight is being planted on the drive wheels, making it harder to spin giving better traction and quiker acceleration."
Some old guy who owns a 70 chevelle and a 73 plymouth cuda told us this, he's also the fourm car tech too. He finally responded after 53 posts and 4 verbal fights over this LOL

I think that both have there ups and downs. If you can get rid of the traction problem with something like traction control on a front wheel drive car, then you can eliminate that problem.
